RESERVING AND PURCHASING TICKETS

Users may purchase more than one ticket in a single transaction.

Ticket availability is subject to change until the transaction is completed and payment is made.

Ticket sales are complete when the registration form is filled out and payment is made.

Once payment has been made, it is no longer possible to change or cancel a reservation.

PAYING FOR TICKETS

Payment may be made by credit card (Visa, MasterCard, or Eurocard) by following the instructions provided online.

ORDER CONFIRMATION

Once payment has been successfully made, you will be given confirmation of your order along with a transaction identification code.

Shortly after payment has been made, you will also receive confirmation of your purchase by e-mail, including an indication of the type of tickets purchased, the price paid.

RETRIEVING TICKETS

Tickets may be retrieved at the ticket office where the event is to be held by showing the mail with the reservation code.

EXCLUSION OF THE RIGHT OF WITHDRAWAL FROM THE CONTRACT

We inform the Customer that, since the Contract provides for the supply of services related to leisure activities that the Promoter undertakes to provide for a specific date, the Contract, pursuant to Art. 59, para. I, lett. n) of the Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal provided for by Art. 52 of the Consumer Code shall not apply to the Contract. Therefore, the Customer may not exercise this right in relation to the Tickets purchase.

REFUNDS

No refunds of the price of the ticket shall be given should you decide that the purchase was done in error or that you are no longer able to attend the event. Nor are refunds given for tickets that were purchased but never retrieved. Confirmed bookings can not be changed.

REDUCED-PRICE TICKET

European union citizens only, over 18 and until the day of the twenty-fifth year of age showing passport or ID.

CUMULATIVE TICKET

The combined ticket is valid for 5 consecutive days and offers one single priority admission to all the museum sites of the Uffizi, Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens. The Uffizi Galleries’ cumulative ticket owner must keep the admission ticket until they have visited all the Museums. When purchasing the ticket it is mandatory to choose the day and the hour you wish to enter the Uffizi, which is compulsorily the first museum to visit.
The ticket is valid one day more in case one closing day is included in the 5 validity days, i.e. the weekly off-day, Monday, or December 25th or January 1st.

PASSEPARTOUT FAMILY

The Passepartout Family is valid for two adults and an unlimited number of children. It offers unlimited priority admission for 365 days to all the museums: Uffizi, Pitti Palace and Boboli Gardens.

NAMED TICKET

From 1 March 2022, all tickets purchased for the Galleria degli Uffizi are named.

ENTRY FREE OF CHARGE

Entry is free of charge for:

  1. Children under 18 years of any nationality showing passport or id card. Children younger than 12 must be accompanied by an adult;
  2. Groups of students from Italy or other EU member states accompanied by their instructors, subject to making phone reservations at the number +39 055 294883 and as authorized by school administration;
  3. Teachers and students enrolled in the faculties of Archtecture, Cultural Heritage conservation and Educational Services, or on degree courses in literature with an archaeological or historic-artistic specialization in the faculties of literature and philosophy, only for European Union universities. Students must display a valid certificate of enrolment for the current academic year, in Italian, or in English for foreign students (NO international student’s card);
  4. Journalists of European Union. They must display a valid certificate for the current year, in Italian or in English for foreign citizens (Press Card);
  5. On-duty tour guides (upon presenting a valid license issued by the competent authority);
  6. Interpreters assisting tour guides (upon presenting a valid license issued by the competent authority);
  7. Employees of the Italian Ministry for Cultural Affairs;
  8. Members of the International Council of Museums (ICOM);
  9. For the purposes of study and research, certified by an Italian or international university, academy, school, research institute, or cultural organization, or by the Italian Ministry for Cultural Affairs, or for other justifiable reasons, parties requesting to conduct such research may be granted entry free of charge for specified periods of time.

DISABLED PERSONS

Persons with disabilities are entitled by law to free priority access to all State Museums of Florence for themselves and for a companion, if so specified in the disability certificate. Simply go to the museum you wish to visit and the reception staff will handle all your needs.
Please note that the State Museums of Florence can offer you temporary use of a wheelchair free-of-charge against deposit of a valid identity document.
